, in 1929 was Land Speed Record Breaker Golden Arrow. Driven by Henry Seagrave it achieved 231.362mph on Daytona Beach Florida.
1000hp from a Napier Lion Aero engine 12 cylinders in W formation. Twin prop shafts, one either side of the driver, enabled the low profile.
