1967 Ferrari 312 chassis 0007
9/11/2012. The Wheatcroft Collection - Donington Park - UK
Introduced in 1966 designed by Mauro Forghieri. Like other F1 teams Ferrari weren't ready for the new 3 litre engine rule. They used a scaled down 3.3 litre sports car engine from the 275P2.
Good in a straight line but a bit heavy on the corners.
John Surtees drove one at Monaco rather unsuccessfully but in the next race at the Belgium with it's long straights he won.
